MAKE SURE YOU FULLY READ THE INFO BELOW BEFORE APPLYING TO PARIS KIDS

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do we accept everyone who applies?
No!  Our books only open for a few months per year and once we have enough children to cover all ages, abilities and looks, our books will then close.  We will work with the children registered to help gain as much experience and work as possible in the Entertainment Industry.  We are a selective agency and currently only have 60 clients on our books across all age groups, ensuring there is no in-house competition!

Can my child be registered with another agency?
Yes.  We are a non-sole agency, however we do not recommend being with more than three agencies at one time.

Does Paris Kids Talent Agency charge Fees?
Should your child be accepted to join the agency, we do not charge any registration fees, however you will be asked to become a member of ‘Spotlight for Young Performers' if your child is aged 4+, which is currently £100 including VAT for one year.  Children must have professional head shots regularly, which meet our standard, please speak to us about our recommended photographers.  Parents are welcome to send in their own additional shots throughout the year, which are held on file for clients to view upon request.  You are also asked to keep us up to date with any changes in your child’s appearance or any new skills they may have attained.

Do you take commission?
The agency earns commission from paid work.  We take the standard 20-25% commission on all fees (excluding travel expenses). It is therefore in the agency's best interest to secure your child work where possible. We also encourage Kids to audition for unpaid work to gain invaluable experience in the industry, as well as attend Workshops and Events throughout the year in London and the South East.

Once my child is registered, are they guaranteed paid work?
Unfortunately not! No agency can possibly guarantee work, as they have no idea what work will come into their offices, so will never know in advance who a client may select for their assignment.  If an agency tells you they can guarantee your child work, then avoid them at all costs!

Do I have to travel to London?
We are a South Agency, therefore most of our work is based in and around London.  You must be prepared to travel to castings at short notice and cover your own travel expenses.  Quite often castings are arranged with just 24 hours notice, so please consider who will be available to take your child.  Occasionally a client will pay a casting fee or a chaperone fee, you will be informed before attending if this is the case.

What if I am unavailable?
We use a fabulous software system which enables parents to easily inform us of any unavailable dates you may have.  If we have an audition or casting and you have not booked out, then we do expect you to attend.

What type of work am I likely to get?
We can not guarantee any work or auditions, however most recently our clients have auditioned or worked for the following: West End Shows - Matilda, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Nativity The Musical, School of Rock and Adrian Mole. TV/Commercials include M&S, Cadbury’s, Nike, Lego and CBBC.  Film including Netflix feature films, short films and educational, corporate filming.  Photographic work, includes Disney, H&M and various Dance Magazine modelling. Theatre credits include the English Youth Ballet and many professional Pantomimes, so lots of exciting stuff!

What happens once my child is registered with the agency?
After a successful application you will be invited to join Spotlight, unless you already have an account.  Once set up, Paris Kids Talent Agency will put your child forward for all castings, auditions and events they meet the criteria for.  You can also be request to join a private Facebook Group where you will have access to regular updates.

What is Spotlight?
Spotlight features profiles for young performers from the UK's leading agencies and theatre schools. It is the UK's definitive platform of performers aged 4-25 and the best way for any young performer to promote themselves to casting opportunities. Young performers can join any time after their 4th birthday via their Agency link.  Productions cast via Spotlight include feature films, west end musicals, tv dramas, commercials and so much more - for example The Zookeeper, Game of Thrones, Dr. Who, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, Matilda! and School of Rock – to name but a few!
